University of Brescia team members organized a training week in Italy, it comprised of a three-day summer school on metal additive manufacturing and two-day training at the University of Brescia campus. Besides the two from UNIBS, five participants from NEDUET, two from UETT, one from BUE, two from UNIMAP, two from UMPSA, and two from DCU attended the training week. Fifteen participants obtained the training in that week.
This training week started on June 31st, 2024 and ended on July 5th, 2024. Metal additive manufacturing sessions were delivered by veterans of the Metal AM from Universities of Italy. Summer School on Metal AM comprises of the lectures of the state of the art research, new technologies and methodologies in Metal AM. The other two days consisted of a visit to the Metal AM industry where these machinery were elucidated and training on smart class room and simulation of formative manufacturing.
