2nd Half Yearly Meeting was held at NEDUET on 4th & 5th March 2024. The consortium visited NED University of Engineering & Technology. It includes the Malaysian Universities participants (UMPSA & UNIMAP) and UETT Participants. NEDUET Participants extended a warm welcome and made them visit the University. UMPSA & UNIMAP participants visited the Mechanical and Industrial & Manufacturing Department and its Laboratories. They also visited the Metallurgical Engineering Laboratories. On the same day, they met the Honourable Vice-Chancellor of NEDUET (Prof. Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodhi). The Vice-Chancellor extended a warm welcome and discussed about project updates and progress. The Vice-chancellor expressed optimism regarding the partners’ ongoing collaboration after the project.
Consortium Participants also visited historical places in Karachi, they had delicious cuisine of Karachi. Malaysian Partners conducted a seminar for student opportunities in Malaysia under the Erasmus+ CBHE Program at NED UET. Students seemed to be quite interested in exploring opportunities in Malaysia
The Consortium and PDTC meeting took place at NEDUET on March 5, 2024. Participants from UMPSA, UNIMAP, UETT, and NEDUET attended the meeting in person, while participants from DCU and UNIBS did so virtually. The consortium board deliberated on the project’s advancement, upcoming deliverables, and the strategy for completing deliverables on schedule. In one and a half hours, the meeting was adjourned.
